Rob Cardillo has been photographing gardens, plants and the people that love them for over twenty years. A native of Pittsburgh, Cardillo now resides outside Philadelphia and travels extensively during the growing season.
He has been the sole photographer for fifteen books including The Art of Gardening (by R.W.Thomas) and Private Gardens of South Florida (by Jack Staub).
Rob's work is also seen in Country Gardens, Garden Design, Gardens Illustrated and The New York Times. Along with his Blue Root Media partners, Cardillo has been providing the content for an award-winning regional gardening magazine, GROW, published quarterly by the venerable Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.
Winner of numerous photography awards, Rob was inducted into the Garden Writer's Association Hall of Fame in 2016.
When not traveling, Rob loves to spend time with his lovely wife, Sue and two poorly trained rescue dogs, Rosie and Romeo.
